Privatization Holding Company formerly known as Kuwait Privatization Projects Holding Company (KPPHC) provides financial, administrative and technical consulting services relating to investment and privatization projects, owning local and foreign companies, making investment in real estate, holding patents and copyrights and advancing of loan facility to the associated companies. Its major shareholders are National Industries Group and Kuwait Financial Center.
The company's primary activity is to invest directly in infrastructure projects and to own significant stakes in companies with the same objectives. The company continuously evaluates investment opportunities targeting: significant stakes including board representation, in entities providing services in the different sectors such as Energy, Infrastructure, Telecom and Utilities, Government-owned assets that are offered for privatization, participation in government-owned infrastructure projects on a BOT/BOOT basis, significant stakes including board representation in family-owned businesses, likely to be restructured into publicly held corporations and so on.
