Salalah Port Services Co. (SPSI) manages and operates the Port of Salalah which is a transshipment hub in the West Central Asia Region. Port of Salalah Development Company LLC is its subsidiary which is engaged in property related activities within the port premises. The A.P. Moller - Maersk Group is the largest shareholder of the company with 30% share, The Omani Government owns 20%, Local Private Sector owns 19%, Government Pension Funds holds 11% share and the remaining 20% of the shares are traded on the Muscat Securities Market.
Salalah Port Services Company is primarily engaged in leasing, operating, equipping and managing container terminals and general cargo terminal facilities at the port of Salalah. The company also provides maintenance and repair works for container units, handling services, monitoring of reefer units, and other services.
