Saudi Cable Company Group, based in Jeddah, was the first cable manufacturer established in the Arabian Gulf, and remains one of the largest cable manufacturers in the region.The Group is organized into four main business groups:
SCC Cables (Saudi energy and telecom cable manufacturing);
Mass Cables (Turkish energy and telecom cable manufacturing);
Midal Cables (Bahrain aluminum and alloy conductor manufacturing); and
SCC Group International Sales (International Sales and Turnkey Project Services).
The Group produces a wide range of conductors and cable products, and is integrated vertically upstream into copper rod and PVC, and downstream into turnkey projects, from design and installation to testing and commissioning. In addition to local sales, SCC has successfully exported to over 40 countries worldwide. It manufactures and markets power and telecom cables and related products.

Saudi Cable was established in 1975 as a joint venture solely between Xenel Industries and Anaconda with a capital of SR 3.5 million. With increases over the years the capital became SR 270 million in 1988 when the company was converted into a joint stock company.
